Hello November, Goodbye October!

Hello from London! I am writing this on Sunday night in London but it is already Monday morning in Singapore so forgive me if any words come off weird because my brains have yet to adjust :).

SO, I haven’t really done any updates for October nor have I been present online much for the last few weeks.

No particular reason really except I got sick again and again and it sapped just all my energy.

On top of that, I was trying to clear work so that I can go for my holiday here in London. So this is more of a quick update about my absence. I’m still around but pretty tired since I have just arrived here in London.

If you want to keep up with my adventures while I’m here, do catch me at instagram or twitter, although my phone has not been working well so this has affected my social media and notifications as well.

I am VERY excited to be here since it is my very first visit out of my region. It was also the first time that I had a long haul flight (13 hours on a plane is a killer, by the way). If I do not sound too excited, trust me, I am. If my brains would just catch up with the rest of me, I would be able to sound more excited, I think. šŸ™‚

For now, I shall sleep early to make it for my train ride to Paris tomorrow morning.

If anyone have any tips for Paris, Edinburgh or London, let me know! šŸ™‚

In the meantime, enjoy some photos taken on my long flight from Singapore to London…:)

If you look closely, you can see the mountains. These mountains are so high up to be touching the clouds!

Look at how close these mountain tops were! The plane was flying directly above it!

Finally arrived in London after 13 hours of being cooped up on the plane!

  1. Yas! What a great way to start the month. Ok so you are going to Paris and I’m jumping up and down. Enjoy Paris! But expect a lot of stairs šŸ˜¦ Explore the Latin Quarter, drop by Shakespeare &Co. And buy souvenirs from there. Also try the Velib if you can. Have a picnic at Luxembourg. Aaah so many things to do. Enjoy your Europe trip Sha. Totes excited for you.

    • Nah, that’s ok. I don’t really like window seats actually but this time round, I’m super super grateful that I managed to sit here because no photos can express the beauty of all the things that I saw from being way up there…hehe…:)

  2. Yay! You made it! Have an amazing trip and make sure you eat tons and tons of pastries and desserts in Paris. Sooo delicious. Might be a bit chilly now, but head up to the Sacre Coeur and hang out on the lawn up there…great view of the city and peaceful feeling šŸ™‚

  3. Have a fabulous trip Sha! Dress warm. In London you can buy a pass for the hop on hop off bus that also includes the ferry on the Thames and is good for 24 hrs. It really helped us get our wits about us and saved a lot of walking.
