This post is meant for 26 May. I procrastinated…as always….it’s 27 May now. SORRY!!

Anyway, a very big thank you and shout out to Farianti for inviting me to participate in the blog tour. I was very indecisive regarding her invitation because I felt that there are many more others out there who are more deserving. I thought about it so much that I decided to stop my misery and just DO IT.

So this blog tour is essentially answering these 4 questions below and then passing on the baton to 3 other bloggers, asking them the same questions, like a chain mail of sorts. So here goes:

1. What am I working on?

At work? In my life? I’m currently at a crossroads trying to decide whether I should turn left or right. But I’ve got to say that the best step that I’ve taken towards either direction is to start this blog. So I would say that I’m working on my blog outside of my working time and personal time. I’m constantly thinking of ideas, have a lot of drafts (which may remain unpublished), and looking for ways to improve my writing or the website. Thinking, that is. Not always doing, hence, my sporadic posts of late. BIG SORRY!!

2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?

Can I just say I’m still exploring? I’m still a baby in this sense, which was why I hesitated a lot on doing this. I would say this though – The best posts that I like personally are usually the ones where I have the most fun doing up. 🙂

3. Why do I write what I do?

Because I like telling stories. I love coming back from my travels to tell my stories to everyone who is willing to listen. Unfortunately, I can’t always be the one talking so I thought that writing out the stories is another avenue for me to tell my stories. I also like to give people advice whether they like it or not. So rather than having to suppress myself from going overboard, I thought that this is a good way to give out my advice. After all, someone, at the very least, will appreciate reading about it, right?

4. How does your writing process work?

I read a lot of blogs for inspiration. Sometimes, I get ideas from doing something and sometimes, the idea would hit me out of nowhere and I have to write it out while it’s still hot in my head. So essentially, I have no process. Me and processes don’t work well together. I do find writing in the office after work more conducive. I get a huge screen with comfortable chair and the best thing – I have air conditioning in the office which my house lacks. Humidity at night can be such a mood killer.

Carl or Duke

I’ll just call him Carl. Carl writes about one of my favourite places to visit – Korea. His stories are usually interesting, insightful and full of beautiful photos taken by his wife. He also loves to write so I’m passing this on to him as well. I’m pretty sure he’ll come up with better answers than mine.

Justine

I’ve enjoyed reading her travel stories around Asia. She gives insightful tips and her love for travelling comes through her stories. She has lots more stories but she’s slowly giving it out piece by piece. More please, Justine? 🙂

The one thing that I always hate doing such things like this is making me choose. I had to choose only 3 when there are so many others out there that I enjoy a lot as well! So guys…keep on posting your stories, I’ll get to reading them.
